Dubai was very hot and the airport was huge. There were lots of shops meaning lots of people too. From there we had to go to Larnica, (which is in Cyprus) to refuel and pick up more people. The flight took a little longer because we had to fly away from Iraq.
The flight to Malta was very smooth and I watched lots of movies. When we arrived we had so many aunts and cousins waiting for us. We went to my mum's aunts house and will be staying with them during our stay.
Hi Mikayla,
ReplyDeleteThis is my second attempt at putting a comment on your blog so I am hoping for the best! The class composed a lovely message to you a few days ago but it doesn't appear to have been published so we will try again tomorrow. We are having a Mass for the Feast of the Assumption tomorrow so we will say a special prayer for you and all your family for a safe holiday.
We will write soon.
Mrs Power
Hi Mrs Power and 5B,
DeleteThank you for posting a comment on my blog. It was really nice to hear from you.
We are also celebrating the Feast of the Assumption here in Malta and it lasts a whole week. Every night people gather around the church and celebrate. I will do my best to post some photos of this magical experience soon.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Love Mikayla
Hi Mikayla
ReplyDeleteIt has been raining for 3 days here non-stop, is it hot over there?
On Friday we had a lesson on Passive smoking and we had to act it out; Kurt had to be the smoker.
I hope you have a great time in Malta
Breana
Hi Breana,
DeleteIt has been non stop heat and sun here and I'm having a great time but am still missing 5B.
The passive smoking lesson sounds interesting. Maybe you can fill me in on the info when I get back.
Thanks for emailing me, it was really great to hear from you.
Love from Mikayla
